A Message From the Owners
Dear Parents,
We are excited to offer CAMP EVENTURE! this year! We are committed to providing the best possible camp experience and memories for campers. We believe that the camping experience can be greatly enhanced through communication and preparation before and during the camp session.
Talking to children about their upcoming camp adventure is a very important first step in preparing for camp. Life at camp is different from the routines and patterns of home and school. Setting a positive tone and clarifying expectations can really help your child to make this adjustment. Your child will have the opportunity to meet new friends, as well as continue with current friends and explore creativity, teamwork and leadership in a wide range of physically active programs that influences lifelong healthy choices.
We want to include families as much as possible with camper updates and flyers to share all the fun we are having at camp. Our camp staff is comprised of teachers, college students, or anyone who has the desire to work in the recreation field. Counselors are carefully selected through experience and skill set as well as enthusiasm, and a dedication to working with children. All summer camp staff members selected will complete an extensive pre-camp training (25+ hours) that includes character development, age appropriate activities, program planning, positive discipline, first aid/ CPR and AED, emergency procedures, child abuse prevention and recognition.

When you drop your child off at camp, we know that you are trusting us to provide high-quality care. With a low camper-to-staff ratio depending on age, each child receives the attention they need to grow in a safe, supportive environment.

We believe in serving the needs of all members of our surrounding community. We have structured our prices to benefit the residents of Deptford and keep at a lower cost than competitive camps.
Choice Time each day
Each camper at different times of the day gets a chance in schedule.
Special Events and Specialists
Each camper will experience a variety of special events each theme week in addition to their camp program throughout the summer.
Caring and Well Trained Camp Staff
We believe that our staff is our greatest resource. Each of our staff undergoes a series of interviews, reference checks, and a complete background/criminal history check. Our directors are experienced people who are currently or eventual working professionals in the fields of education and child development.
Our senior staff is at least 18 years of age with prior experience working with children. We target Education majors or other Fields of Study regarding to working with school-age children.
All staff complete 20 hours of camp training, and our leadership and senior staff is certified in First Aid and CPR.
What Makes CAMP EVENTURE Special?
There are many things to consider when choosing a summer camp for your child. So what is different about CAMP EVENTURE? A few things:
Our 22,000-square-foot facility has an indoor gym area for all types of indoor recreational activities such as basketball, indoor soccer, dodgeball, gaga courts to just name a few. We also have four large rooms where activities are held to stimulate creativity with arts and crafts, music, and other creative activities each day. Best of all we have a concession stand and eating area connected to an arcade area where campers can enjoy some down time while enjoying a snack and playing some awesome arcade games. We also have an outdoor are with an asphalt playing area as well as a grass area so campers can enjoy both the indoors and outdoors!
Our camp curriculum is values-based. Trustworthiness, caring, responsibility, fairness, and the respect for one and others is the basis of a great camp experience.
We’re community friendly. Our prices are based on residency in Deptford and surrounding areas. We want our residents to take full advantage of a great summer program as well as make it affordable for all to attend. We are parent friendly. Register for just one week or all eleven weeks! We also offer extended day programs for working parents.
Our program is part of your children’s educational and social development, interwoven with fun and active play.
We have experience! The owners and core leadership of CAMP EVENTURE! Camp have more than a combined 50 years of experience in Day Camping.
